Who are we?

Soft-Age has only two full-time personnel. However we use the services of a network of freelance translators to handle our fast growing needs. Jobs handled by these translators are always read and checked in-house. All our translators are chosen for their qualifications and experience in our specialist fields of engineering and information technology. They are all experienced professional translators.

Meet the team

Marilyn Le Bot

With a degree in translation from the Angers School of Modern Languages, Marilyn began her career in a firm specializing in systems analysis and logistics. Working with weapons specialists and highly qualified engineers provided her with a sound technical and linguistic grounding. From there, it was a natural step to become a freelance translator, which has been her occupation now for three years. The course of her business led her to specialize in information technology, most of the documents for translation dealing with hardware, software and software localization. Today Marilyn concentrates on specialized translation and keeping herself up to date with the emerging technologies that are transforming the landscape of the new millennium.

Bertrand Courté

A Business Studies graduate, Bertrand subsequently developed an enthusiasm for Information Technology. Previously the head of a website design company (Courté-Webnet), he joined Soft-Age last year. His wealth of experience in IT and computer graphics (Java, HTML, etc.) provides considerable added value to the range of language services. Our customers can be confident that their original document will be translated free from technical errors, in the appropriate style and using the correct terminology for the message to be put across.

In the computer age (or more accurately the age of software), our team blends perfectly with the world around us and provides the complete solution to today’s language services requirements. Our business philosophy is based on Humility, Quality and Continual Expansion of our knowledge base.
